Alberta Class 7 License Regulations: Once you are 14 years old you can apply for a Class 7 license. This class permits you to drive a moped or to begin learning to drive vehicles listed under the Class 5 license category. If you are at least 16-years-old, a Class 7 license allows you to drive a motorcycle as a learner.
