Experience and Equivalency Class 1

Experience and Equivalency Class 1 includes:

                Core Learning: $4000.00

                Must be completed before doing the Competence Building & Road Test

• 3.5 hours online course (driver.training.alberta.ca)
• 11.5 hours of in-yard training
• 28.5 hours of in-cab training

An approval letter from Alberta Transportation must be provided prior to training

• Students must have a full Class 3 Alberta Driver’s License with Airbrakes (Q) for minimum 2 years.
• Students must pass a Driver’s Class 1 Medical before starting the program
• Students must pass a Class 1 Knowledge Test at a Registries office prior to doing the road test

Mandatory attendance is required to complete the program in the dates you have chosen to attend.

A non refundable deposit of $1500.00 due at time of booking. Total payment must be paid 1 month prior to start date.

Separate costs paid by the student include:

• Road Test Permit: $217.00
• Road Test Truck Fee: $300
• Driver’s Class 1 Medical
• Class 1 Knowledge Test at a Registries Office

Competence Building: ($2500.00)

Must be completed to remove Provincial restriction from license

• 24 hours of in-yard and in-cab training
